The Region of Itä-Uusimaa

The Region of Itä-Uusimaa consists of eight historic inland and coastal municipalities: Askola, Lapinjärvi, Liljendal, Myrskylä, Pernaja, Pukkila, Ruotsinpyhtää, Sipoo.

The regions has a shoreline of 3698 km. The Region has almost 100,000 inhabitants with 32 % of inhabitants speaking Swedish as their mother tongue.

Itä-Uusimaa is a place where west and east meet in historical and in present sense. The municipalities in Itä-Uusimaa are situated by the European road E18 that links the southern coast of Finland to St Petersburg in Russia. E18 is a gateway to Europe and Russia. Highways 6 and 7 link the region to eastern parts of Finland and Russian Karelia. The ancient historical highway Kings Road runs along the southern coast of Itä-Uusimaa. It has been a nationwide route since 14th century.

Region of Itä-Uusimaa offers unique opportunities for recreational travellers as well as for travellers interested in culture. Itä-Uusimaa houses the oldest buildings in Finland.

Places of historical interest are found in each municipality such as the unique Old Towns in Porvoo and Loviisa, Strömfors iron works, river valley areas, churches and many manors that are even still lived in today.

The Archipelago of Itä-Uusimaa is perfect for people who love yachting in challenging Nordic waters.

The family room consists of a double bedroom and a living room with seating area and 2 extra beds. The extra beds are included in the room rate.
Junior Suite (2+0)

These suites have a queen-size bed and it is possible to fit in 1-2 extra beds for children. There's also a bathroom with Jacuzzi and a furnished balcony. Some windows offer sea views. Please note that pets are not allowed in this room type.

This room is located in a separate 2-storey guest house in the nearby 18th century courtyard, just a 1 minute walk from the main hotel building.
